This pendant is very special for me because of the story behind it. During my time renting a room in the Ethiopian consulate building in Jerusalem, I found a very special African mask in the attic. it was carved with bronze plates and made a deep impression on me. Seven years later I worked at the Ilana Goor museum in Jaffa, where I was exposed to a whole room of African art and masks, and was for me the most impressive room in this amazing museum. When these masks began appearing in my dreams I knew it was time for me to translate those impressions to my own creation, and this is the result.
