My name is Elika Laskar Feldman.

I am an Israeli/French/American sculptor and jewelry designer. My art is inspired by my studies of philosophy, religion and literature and my travels throughout the world. Wherever I go, I collect natural materials as well as the stories that people tell me - and themselves - of who they are and how they relate to the world.

My sculptures and design jewelry integrate natural materials and textures such as salt crystals, silver and gold leaf, stones and textures of organic tissue and plants, with man-made materials such as polymer clay, and ready-made objects that I pick up in the course of my travels. The people I meet and places I visit guide my choices of concepts, shapes, colors and materials.

The result is a limited number of one-of-a-kind pieces that express the relationship between the human mind and the transcendental world of nature.
